Ingredients (1 drink)

  • 50 ml Naturae Gin Fructetum
  • 25 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml sugar syrup (1:1)
  • 15 ml mandarin liqueur
  • Ice
  • Orange slice (garnish)

Glass & Equipment

  • Sour or old fashioned glass
  • Shaker, jigger, strainer (fine mesh recommended)

Procedure (3 minutes)

  1. Chill the glass with ice.
  2. Shake gin , lemon , simple syrup and mandarin liqueur with ice for 8–10 s.
  3. Strain into a very chilled glass (or into an old fashioned glass with crystal clear ice).
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange or dried citrus.

Quick variations

  • Citrus Sour Egg-White: Add 15 ml of egg white; dry shake + wet shake for a silky foam.
  • Bergamot Twist: Replace 5ml of lemon with 5ml of bergamot for a more floral profile.
  • Mandarin Spritz-Sour (low-ABV): 40 ml gin, 15 ml lemon, 10 ml simple syrup, 15 ml mandarin liqueur, top with soda water in a highball glass.
