Minted Side — The South Side with a Herbal Twist

Ingredients (1 drink)
- 50 ml Naturae Gin Herbarium
- 25 ml fresh lemon juice
- 10 ml sugar syrup (1:1)
- 5 ml mint syrup
- 8–10 fresh mint leaves
- Ice
- Mint leaves for garnish
Glass & Equipment
- Cocktail glass or highball glass with ice
- Shaker, jigger, strainer (fine mesh recommended)
Procedure (3 minutes)
- Chill the glass with ice.
- Place the mint leaves in the shaker, then pour in the gin , lemon , sugar syrup , and mint syrup . Shake vigorously with ice for 8–10 seconds (do not muddle the mint).
- Strain through a fine mesh into a very chilled glass (or into a highball glass filled with crystal clear ice).
- Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lemon zest (optional).
